CoastOne G40 Electric Press Brake
The G40 features an O-frame just like all the G-Series press brakes. It deflects less than a conventional C-frame while still remaining lighter. The G40 has six servo driven ball screws which crown and bend simultaneously. Due to the servos’ high accuracy, the upper beam can be CNC deflected to “follow” the lower beam seamlessly. CoastOne’s unique direct crowning is a unique system that gives you a great bending result.
In addition to servo technology’s superior kinematic, it also saves the environment. The lack of hydraulic oil also eliminates expensive oil changes, spare parts, valves and maintenance expenses common to hydraulic press brakes.
ABOUT G-SERIES PRESS BRAKES
The G-Series press brakes feature an “O-Frame,” as opposed to the “C-Frame” found in the smaller machines. The “O-Frame” deflects less than the “C-Frame” which is very useful for the higher tonnage and longer bed length machines. Due to the strategic positioning of the drives, the CoastOne G-Series press brakes come standard with an “automatic crowning feature.” Each drive independently varies the force, depending on the position of the material across the press brake bed. Many “electric” competitors do not have this ability because they are using belts and pulleys across the ram, which don’t allow the machines to “pin-point” the force of the ram. Customers will also find HUGE electricity savings compared to traditional hydraulic machines.
